Over the past few months, we have had the honor of working on a truly unique and deeply meaningful digital project. In close collaboration with the people who hold his memory dear, we designed and developed a comprehensive digital anthology of articles by Stefano Carrer, a brilliant journalist who tragically passed away a few years ago.
A Digital Tribute to a Global Reporter
Buscar Levante (Looking East) collects and commemorates his extensive editorial work spanning from 1989 to 2020: featuring reporting from Italy, Europe, the Americas, and Japan, always looking further "towards the East."
The primary goal of this custom editorial website is to keep the memory of his immense professional contribution alive, celebrating the profound love for culture and the strict intellectual honesty that guided his entire career. Furthermore, the platform intends to promote and support any initiative aimed at passing on the powerful message he left us: one of unwavering dedication and endless curiosity about the world.
Complex Content Management & Information Architecture
From a web design perspective, organizing and structuring such a massive and complex editorial production was no easy mission. It required careful information architecture and advanced content management. However, a solid and constant collaboration with our clients led to an excellent digital result—though not without some intensely twisted brainstorming sessions (as you can see in the behind-the-scenes photo below!).
Over the coming months, the website will be continuously enriched with new multimedia contributions, videos, and archival articles, so be sure to keep an eye on it!
