It’s not the prestigious productions or the remarkable technical capabilities of Mec Europa 2 that make this company a leader in footwear manufacturing. It’s the over 300 team members working in synergy to create excellent products. Starting from this premise, we designed a website capable of hosting a series of videos that tell the spirit of this team. In collaboration with Luca Zizioli and Giovanni Riviera, responsible for photo and video production, we designed the interface of the new site in relation to the rhythm and narrative of the images.

For commercial and strategic reasons, the client cannot show certain production phases, as they could inevitably be associated with one of their customers, causing a competitive disadvantage and possible image problems. Aware of this limitation, our team seized the opportunity to create a video clip to highlight the expertise of the people and the company structure. Guided by our client, we understood that while products are destined to change and evolve, the experience and value of professionals remain irreplaceable.
From the directors’ POV
The request to create a corporate video was a fundamental starting point for the website design: blurring the boundary between media, we used screens and cuts from the main video to generate secondary visuals in line with the contents of various pages. This led to achieving two objectives: over 20 videos showing various aspects of the brand, and significant savings in production costs and time. To accompany these video products, we maintained a simple and functional aesthetic. The narrative is completed by animations inspired by video content, condensed typography, and alternating dark and light backgrounds that respect the company’s aesthetics.
