ARW, acronimo di Architectural Research Workshop, è uno studio di architettura guidato dagli architetti Camillo Botticini e Matteo Facchinelli, con sede a Brescia e attivo in tutta Europa. Ci è stato richiesto il design e lo sviluppo di un nuovo sito portfolio che includesse un archivio di oltre 50 progetti, la presentazione di un team in continua crescita e una ricca sezione news che fungesse da vetrina per le attività dello studio.

In passato, Studio Up ha curato l’immagine coordinata e il design del precedente sito web. Nel corso di questi anni, ARW ha cambiato drasticamente la propria attività, lavorando su numerosi progetti e gestendo un team multidisciplinare tre volte più grande rispetto al nostro primo incontro. Questi cambiamenti hanno generato nuove esigenze tra cui un sito web con una veste grafica e una struttura totalmente nuove.

I progetti ARW
L’elemento principale del sito è il ricco portfolio dei progetti. Dal punto di vista strategico è stato fondamentale mostrare la vasta esperienza dello studio, attivo su progetti di diverse tipologie e scale, spaziando da grandi opere pubbliche a ville private. Con questo obiettivo in mente, abbiamo suddiviso l’archivio in molte categorie, creando per ogni progetto un template specifico in grado di esaltare la componente fotografica e concettuale senza sacrificare le informazioni pratiche.

Parallelamente all’archivio progetti, abbiamo creato altre due sezioni principali: la sezione ‘Research’, dedicata alla visione filosofica del brand, che fornisce una panoramica visuale sulle opere dello studio, e la sezione ‘Workshop’, che mostra i risultati e i premi vinti dallo studio e le persone che hanno permesso di raggiungere questi traguardi.

Feature extra
Il sito presenta alcune feature importanti per la fruizione dei progetti: la dark mode, che consente di attivare lo sfondo nero ed esaltare al massimo i colori delle foto, e un pannello che consente di inserire informazioni e disegni tecnici all’interno del progetto. Ogni progetto è inoltre corredato da un logo specifico disegnato direttamente dal team di ARW, che abbiamo utilizzato come icona rappresentativa sia nel portfolio che nei premi riportati nella sezione ‘Team’.
