Sidereus offers a complete rental service to meet the needs of diverse users: from small production houses shooting short films, to freelancers with ideas for new music videos, to communication agencies producing interview series. For them, we created a customized e-commerce site tailored to their clients’ needs and shaped around their equipment inventory.

Sidereus began as a film production house. After gaining significant on-set experience, they decided to invest their expertise in a parallel venture: renting photography and video equipment, targeting young professionals. In this context, the brand positions itself not just as a simple rental service, but as a technical partner capable of recommending ideal solutions for the product to be created.
Flexible e-commerce
The equipment inventory that Sidereus makes available to their clients is extensive, covering more than just imaging equipment. Camera bodies, lenses, microphones, lights, and adapters are just some of the hundreds of items found in their catalog1. Our challenge was to present users with all the possibilities that Sidereus offers, creating customizable bundles that put video at the center of navigation, rather than focusing on the equipment used to create it.

Sidereus is a team of directors and videomakers who decided to make their equipment available to other professionals who share their passion4. For this reason, beyond the rental section, the site features a comprehensive About section that tells Sidereus’s story through a selection of their work, and a ‘Grimoire’ section, offering handy tips and tricks to keep in mind during filming.
